When you pull into our parking lot you will have ample free parking in a private lot. You can pull behind the salon to access the lot. When you enter the salon, we will hand you a robe to change, and will thoroughly discuss your style/color choice and what it will take to get you there.

To ensure we can accommodate all your needs, please be sure to book all services required for your visit. For example, if you’re looking for both a “Single Process” and a “Hair Cut,” both should be booked together. If you’re unsure, we offer complimentary video consultations to help you make the right choice.

Alyssa Jackson - owner

Alyssa, a dedicated wife and mother of two, has been passionate about the beauty industry since middle school. Starting her career at 14, she quickly fell in love with the craft and never looked back.

After years of training in top-tier salons across Newton, Hamilton, North Andover, and Wenham, Alyssa built a loyal clientele and took the next step by opening Volition Salon in 2021. Her vision is to offer not only an exceptional salon experience but also a nurturing environment where both clients and staff can thrive. She strives to create a space that encourages growth, creativity, and a sense of community.

Although Alyssa is transitioning away from behind the chair, her commitment to the business and the success of her team remains unwavering. She is deeply invested in her staff’s growth, constantly seeking ways to uplift and educate them. Alyssa is passionate about providing opportunities for her team to excel in the beauty industry.

Giving back is also an essential part of Alyssa’s mission. She regularly donates to local fundraisers and charitable events, supporting the community that has supported her journey. Alyssa is continuously looking for new ways to elevate her salon experience, ensuring that Volition remains a place of luxury, inspiration, and community support.

With 14 years of experience, Jenna is an expert in all aspects of hair, delivering personalized results that leave clients feeling confident and satisfied. Her warm, friendly personality creates a welcoming atmosphere, making every appointment enjoyable. Whether it's a simple trim or a complete transformation, Jenna’s attention to detail and dedication to her craft ensures each client leaves feeling their best.

Specializing in custom haircutting, Kim uses precision techniques to cater the perfect haircut to your face shape, personality, and lifestyle habits. Being our main extension specialist, she is able to help those looking for thicker and/or longer hair, all while keeping your hair healthy and beautiful.
