Our goal is that every client feels relaxed and pampered throughout their experience with us, from the moment you arrive at the salon.
When you pull into our parking lot you will have ample free parking in a private lot. You can pull behind the salon to access the lot. When you enter the salon, we will hand you a robe to change, and will thoroughly discuss your style/color choice and what it will take to get you there.
Your time in the salon will be uninterrupted as we only service one client at a time. We book all of our services separately so be sure to book all services needed. Any services not booked may not be able to be performed based on timing availability. Example: If you are looking for a “Color Retouch” and a “Hair Cut” you need to book both, not just the “Color Retouch”. Please see our list of services linked below. Getting it right is important to us – we even offer complimentary video consultations on request to ensure proper booking.

Alyssa Jackson - owner, master stylist
Alyssa is a wife and mother of 2 who lives and grew up on the North Shore. Knowing she wanted to pursue a career in the hair industry since middle school, and attending cosmetology school in high school, she has always been passionate about the trade. She began working in a hair salon when she was 14 years old and hasn’t left since. She had training in high end salons in Newton, Hamilton, North Andover, and Wenham. She managed in the salon for 11 years as well as growing her clientele. She decided it was time to start her own salon, and that is when Volition was established in 2021.
She strives to continue her education, is extremely passionate about chemistry and matching the best products to suit each individual client’s needs. A master colorist, she excels in all hair types. She enjoys helping her clients solve their hair problems and have the best hair of their life!
